Terms and Conditions

Your privacy matters here. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and what you can do about it.

What We Collect

When you use the contact form, leave a comment, or sign up for the newsletter, you’re sharing your name and/or email with us — nothing else.

Separately, like any website, WishesUp automatically logs some technical data: your IP address, browser type, device info, and which pages you visit. Cookies handle session memory and preference tracking. You can block or clear these in your browser settings.

How We Use It

We use what we collect to respond to your messages, send newsletters to people who asked for them, and understand how the site is being used so we can make it better. That’s it. We don’t sell it and we don’t share it beyond what’s listed below.

Third-Party Services and Their Cookies

Google AdSense — Ads keep this site free. AdSense uses cookies to show ads based on your browsing history across the web. Google may collect your IP, device identifiers, and visit data. You can manage your preferences at Google Ad Settings or opt out at aboutads.info.

Google Analytics — We use Analytics to see what people read, how they found us, and roughly where they’re coming from (city/country level, not your address). If you’d rather opt out entirely, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

Social sharing buttons — Pinterest, Facebook, and similar services may track activity when you interact with their buttons. Their own privacy policies cover what they do with that.

External Links

Some posts link to other websites. We have no visibility into what those sites collect, so read their policies before sharing personal information there.

Your Choices

You can ask us what data we hold, request corrections, ask us to delete your information, or unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message we send. For any of these: info@wishesup.com

Children

WishesUp is for general audiences. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you’re a parent and think your child shared something with us, email us and we’ll delete it.

Security

We use standard security practices to protect your data from unauthorized access. No website can guarantee perfect security, but we keep things as tight as reasonably possible.

International Visitors

WishesUp is based in the United States. If you’re visiting from outside the US, your data is processed here — where laws around privacy may not match what you’re used to back home.

Policy Updates

We update this page when our practices change. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised. Significant changes get a notice on the homepage too.

EU Visitors — GDPR

If you’re in the EU, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, limit how we process it, move it to another service, or withdraw consent at any time. We process data based on your consent (newsletter signups), our legitimate interests (site improvement), or legal requirements (tax records).

California Residents — CCPA

You can ask what personal information we’ve collected and how we use it, request deletion, and opt out of data sales. We don’t sell personal information. We also won’t treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. Reach us at info@wishesup.com.
